Full course description
Course Description:
In this session, the course facilitators will begin with a review of the first session and the important role managers play for the success and retention of their direct reports. They will then introduce the Staff JEDI Collective resource guides produced by the School of Medicine Staff JEDI Collective in partnership with the SoM HRG JEDI office. These guides embed leading JEDI practices into the employee experience in five key areas: Recruitment and Hiring Experience; Onboarding, Orientation, and Value Setting; (Inter)departmental Collaboration; Employee Education and Advancement; and Exit and Transition. The guides seek to better embed JEDI strategy into personal interactions, organizational structures, and daily practices, thus fostering cultural transformation. They will highlight specific resource guide(s) for participants to ideate and action plan how to use the practices within their teams.
