Full course description
When research involves services provided by Stanford Health Care (SHC) or Stanford Children’s Health (SCH), a Budgeting and Billing Workbook is required. This interactive session will discuss how to utilize the Workbook: 1) How to estimate the hospital costs covered within your study budget and charged to University study account and 2) How to document hospital costs billed to study subject and/or their insurance. This session will also put into context SHC’s Coverage Analysis (use of “SHC Modified Workbook”) that is currently conducted by Ankura consultants.
Target Audience: Research coordinators, nurses, faculty, staff and post-doctoral scholars working on clinical research projects at Stanford University.
