Full course description
The goal of clinical research is to develop generalizable knowledge that improves human health and increases understanding of human disease. However, the design and implementation of clinical research inevitably raises ethical issues requiring thoughtful deliberation. This course will introduce a framework for evaluating the ethics of clinical research and will feature case-based discussions of ethical issues commonly encountered in, and raised by, clinical research.
