Acuity Tool for Estimating Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Effort - April 17, 2025

The Acuity Tool is designed to help estimate the CRC effort required for a study or specific study tasks, supporting better planning and resource allocation.

Learning Objectives:

• Learn how the Acuity Tool assists in estimating the total CRC effort needed to support a research study.
• Explore how Clinical Research Managers (CRMs) can utilize the tool for resource planning and how CRCs can clarify the scope of work with their Principal Investigator (PI).
• Understand how the tool can be shared with the Research Management Group (RMG) to support budget development and negotiations with study sponsors.

Audience: Research coordinators, nurses, faculty, staff, and post-doctoral scholars working on clinical research projects at Stanford University.
